
Alex Nahai, Principal
Alex Nahai is the founder and principal of Moonlight Capital, a digital capital advisory firm combining expertise in capital markets, technological innovation, and securities law.A seasoned corporate and securities attorney with over a decade of experience, Alex has advised on more than $1.5 billion in capital markets and commercial transactions across sectors including technology, finance, media, intellectual property, real estate, and others.
His career spans both private practice and in-house leadership roles, giving him a rare perspective on the legal, strategic, and operational elements that drive deals through completion.
As the principal of a boutique law firm, Mr. Nahai has represented over 500 clients, ranging from early-stage startups to institutional-backed growth companies to conglomerates. His legal practice focuses on private securities offerings (including Rule 506(b) and 506(c)), equity and debt financings, M&As, corporate structuring, and joint ventures.
Prior to founding his firm, Mr. Nahai served in senior legal roles at Fox Corporation and Endeavor, where he led the execution of corporate and production finance transactions, including joint ventures, equity deals, and IP-driven acquisitions.
He later assumed the role of CEO for BNDR Pty. Ltd., a successor to Amma Private Equity (with over $180 million in AUM), where he oversaw venture-stage investments in digital assets, consumer technology, and emerging media platforms.
Mr. Nahai earned his Juris Doctor from the USC Gould School of Law, and is admitted to practice law in California.
